When buying a budget printer most people assume that the price of the replacement printer ink cartridges will relate to the cost of the printer i.e. cheap printer, cheap printer cartridges. The is most often not the case, there are printers on the market that use ink cartridges that cost twice as much as the printer itself and this is a growing trend. There is a solution however and they are called compatible ink cartridges. Compatibles are made by third party companies who have no links to any of the OEM printer manufacturers and their cartridges offer saving of up to 60% over the cost of the original OEM products. This is the case for Epson D92 ink cartridges and many more. Compatible ink cartridges print the same number of pages are the originals and with a print quality difficult to tell apart fro the original cartridges. The big name printer manufacturers will tell you that using compatibles in your printer is bad and it will cause damage and void or warranty, but they would say that because if people are buying compatible ink cartridges they’re not buying their branded ink and sales of their ink cartridges is where they make most of their profit. The fact of the matter is compatible ink cartridges offer print quality good enough for most peoples needs and at a price that everybody needs.
